Roger Wilco!
is a FREE
realtime voice chat technology that enhances communications among communities of
users on the Internet. Use it to talk to your friends, play multiplayer online
games, or add a voice chatroom to your web site.
Roger Wilco!
is a stand-alone application. You won't need a second souncard -- just one
capable of full-duplex audio and microphone. There's no need for a dedicated
server, and a 28.8K modem gets you in the door.
In other words, this is voice technology you can use now !

| To join
the Online QSO's you need to have the Roger
Wilco (a little freeware third party
application) installed on your machine. You also need Microphone and
Speakers attached to your SoundBlaster (or clone) audio card.
Once you intall and configure Roger Wilco (just 5 easy steps with online help resources) all you have to do is choose a QSO you like and click on the name. You will start listening to people talking. You can talk using a keyboard key as your PTT (usually F12) or using the VOX function. Just like a true radio! I suggest using your amateur radio callsign (if you have one) as your RW callsign. Non-amateur radio visitors, or SWL's, are also welcomed in the channels. |
